UNFCCC Mono is a typeface designed for the 28th annual UN Climate Conference. This typeface was inspired by the focus on new technology in the fight against climate change. When considering what conveys the idea of technology in design, we sometimes go back to the rudimentary monospace typography of the earliest computer systems. This variable typeface was inspired by those monospace typefaces and was designed entirely on a square grid. The first extreme of the variable typeface is thin, rigid, and practical, while the second extreme is a bold, round, friendlier version of a monospace typeface.
